This week, we continued to work on our previous exercises, with the main focus being on vertical softness & shoulder control. We've continued to build upon last week's introduction of Shoulder In/Out. At times, she tends to be a bit bracey, both in her head & neck & in her ribcage. This isn't uncommon, as some horses take a bit longer to really "unlock" their shoulder & ribcage while staying soft in my hands with their head & neck. I'm not worried that she'll continue to progress throughout the next week.
Next week, we'll continue to work on shoulder control through Shoulder In/Out & Sidepassing as well as spend some time outside of the arena.

Next week's update will be posted on Friday.
I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
