This week, we continued to work on Desensitizing, Yielding the HQ Stage 1, Yielding the FQ, Flexing, & Lunging Stage 1, Sending, Lunging Stage 2. He becoming much lighter & more willing, though he sometimes wants to be a bit sticky with his feet & it takes a bit of effort to get him moving so I've been livening up his responsiveness to that. This will be extremely important as we work through some of his stickiness once under saddle. I opted to hold off on the round penning this week with all of the smoke. Hoping it dissipates next week.
Next week, we'll continue working on these exercises while also introducing Backing Up, Circle Driving, & hopefully Round Penning.

I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening.
