Cody: March 16

This week, we got to try out the "new" saddle for Cody. While I will never claim to be a saddle fit expert, I'm currently liking the way this is fitting him. I'd be curious to see if we could find what the actual specs are from Jeff Smith. I also rode him predominantly in the romals along with the bit that I had showed him in in 2023. With the wind, we only ventured off the place a couple of times, otherwise spent our time working on body control.

I put a bug in Jen's ear about needing a couple of horses worked on, but I'll reach back out this next week to see if she's willing to come down.

This coming week is supposed to be another windy week with the potential for some more winter weather. First, Monday will bring temps near 80° so we'll utilize that to wash some of the dust off, rebraid manes, & take photos. We'll see what that brings. I'm hopeful that we can do some ponying & log dragging on Thursday when it's a bit nicer & less windy.
