Cactus: JUly 15

Since Cactus came back, he's needed some work to return to where he was before he left. He's had some good days & days that weren't so great. It might have been ideal to have him in full-time training for this first initial month, but it is what it is & we'll make the most of it.

While it seems like he should be ready to sell after spending a year with me, that year was spent working to make him a good fit for you. Now, that pool for his potential petson just broadened & I'm making him a good fit for a potential buyer, who may be very different from you & your needs.

We've also been working on some fun bits that will be included in his final sale videos - cracking the stock whip & laying down & mounting from the ground (see video). I'm going to reach out to Matt & see if he wouldn't mind sharing the exercise that he thinks might help Cactus & see if it's something that I haven't yet implemented with him.

Next week, we'll continue to work on getting him slowed back down & less rushy while also working on those fun little pieces that will catch the eyes of potential buyers. If we have an appropriate day of weather & sunlight, we'll take his sale photos & begin filming for his videos.

Next week's update will be posted on Friday.

I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
