This week has been spent riding out & about in the pastures & walking the creek with Zakai! We spent time working on Vertical Flexion at all gaits, Draw to a Stop, Draw to Walk Transitions, & began Circle 'N Circle around the yucca plants to improve his rate & fine-tune his steering.
We didn't make it over to the WMA as there was a fair bit of truck traffic today (Friday) so we'll wait until next week to venture over there!
Last Friday, we had an evening bareback ride down the lane. No issues there!
Next week, we'll continue riding out & about. We'll venture a couple of miles down the road to the WMA.
