This week, we started in the arena, continuing to work on both shoulder & hindquarter control. We made some good progress with both, but it was time to get outside of the arena & give the drills a rest for a bit. Outside of the arena, he has done well so far. He travels on a loose rein at all gaits & had zero issues stepping into the creek for the first time as well. He had a couple of very minor spooky moments, but I foresee him getting more & more comfortable with everything.
Next week, we'll continue to spend time both inside & outside of the arena working on softness & body control.

Next week's update will be posted on Saturday.
I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
