I hope you're having a nice 4th of July weekend!
This week, we spent time inside & outside of the arena. Inside the arena, we've continued to work on shoulder control & some hindquarter control. Outside of the arena, we trekked down the gravel roads & walked the creek.
The groundwork exercise, Run Up & Rub, has gone well. He was quite unsure initially & wanted to position me on his left side, but after working on it before each ride, he's not bothered about being approached quickly.
Next week, we'll spend most of our time outside. I hope to make the ride a couple of miles down the road to the Wildlife Management Area.

I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
