This week, Rosie got to get out & about beyond the lane & gravel roads & see some of the pasture sights. She did relatively well. She trekked over what remained of the snow drifts & over some icy/slushy areas with no issues. She wasn't spooky about anything. She did catch sight of the cattle off in the distance & that caught her attention. About the only thing I can pick on is her energy bubbles up into a little trot (she does this twice in the video). She wanted to do this when we first began venturing down the lane & the gravel roads, so I expect this to dissipate with time & more confidence.
Next week, we'll continue to ride through the pastures, taking advantage of the great weather. If she's doing well in the pastures, we may venture out to check & gain exposure with the cattle.
