This week, Roam has been working on Desensitizing, Yielding the HQ & FQ, Flexing, Backing, Lunging Stage 1 & 2, Sending, Circle Driving, C-Pattern, & Throw to a Stop. He's getting better at emotional regulation. His first saddles while here this week went smoothly. He has been reluctant to catch on occasion now that treats have been removed from the daily routine. I'm not terribly worried about that, as I'll phase those back in with hand targeting at catching time soon now that he's not looking for them constantly during our groundwork. He'll have his dental next Friday, June 30th & make a trip to Knotty Equine soon after. I'm really looking forward to mounting up & progressing him under saddle.
Next week, we'll continue to work on his emotional regulation & progressing his overall softness & responsiveness.

Next week's update will be posted on Saturday.
I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
