I hope you got to enjoy the warm weather this past week! I think we made it up to 91° on Thursday.
This week, Roach had his first arena rides & they went very well! We walked, trotted, & loped in both directions. He's quite the smooth, floating ride.
It still takes him about 10 minutes to settle after being saddled. That may be something that improves over time or something that will be his little quirk.
With the warm weather, we had a few good days for the horses to enjoy being hosed off after their session & stand tied. Roach sure enjoyed that.
Next week, we'll practice loading & unloading from the slant load trailer as we're scheduled to make a trip up to Knotty Equine on Wednesday, April 19th.
Next week will be a shorter week as I'll head down to TX for my annual Business Mastermind for Horse Trainers on Thursday through Sunday.
