I hope you & your family had a great Thanksgiving!
This holiday week flew by & sure did a 180° turn weather-wise. From nearly 70° on Wednesday to in the teens & snowing off & on Thursday/Friday/Saturday. We continued to work on Flexing, Yielding the HQ, One Rein Stops, Cruising, Bend at the Walk, & Bending Transitions. His "moments" are getting to be fewer & far between & I'm sure to spend some time desensitizing him as I move all over at the end of our ride before dismounting. With the in-laws arriving earlier than anticipated on Wednesday in prep for hosting Thanksgiving on Thursday, I had to postpone our outside rides.
Next week, the temps will climb back into the 40s. We'll continue working on our previous exercises. I'll also introduce Vertical Flexion at the Standstill, Draw to a Stop, & Backing & we'll try to head down the gravel road at the end of the week.

Next week's update will be posted on Friday.
I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
