Nelly: May 27

What a windy week here at LNH!

This week, we were finally able to get back into the arena with Nelly. Once back in the arena, it was clear that she was much freer & even softer outside of the arena last week. We've continued to work on Flexing, Bend at the Walk, Vertical Flexion at the Standstill/Walk, Stopping & Backing, & also introduced Bending Transitions to help improve her softness when having the rein picked up while moving at the trot & lope & transitioning down to a walk with softness.

Overall, she's gotten much quieter & has graduated to ground-tying for our biweekly photos.

Next week, we'll continue building upon what we worked on this week as I look to further the softness in her head, neck, & ribcage.

Next week's update will be posted on Saturday.

I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
