This week, we've worked on Flexing, Bending at a Walk, Bending Transitions, Vertical Flexion at the Standstill & Walk, Stopping & Backing, Steering, & Loping Circles. She's continuing to get softer & softer at all gaits, though there is still some resistance at the lope, mostly to the left. She's got a bit of attitude to go along with that resistance when loping on the left side, but we've gotten rid of her resistance when asked to lope. Her backing has improved dramatically as well.
Overall, you've got a nice filly on your hands & she's only going to continue to get nicer once she understands how to work through those resistant moments. She doesn't come with any funny business & I definitely see her fulfilling her title as kids' horse in the future!
Next week, we'll continue to work on Bend at the Walk, Bending Transitions, & Vertical Flexion. Toward the end of the week, I may start to introduce some shoulder control through Shoulder In/Out.

Next week's update will be posted on Friday.
I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
