This week, we didn't get to do quite as much in the arena as I would have liked. I've been battling viral conjunctivitis & a nasty cold that I wouldn't pass off as being the lovely COVID, & the wind/dust has not helped the situation (also why I did not get any photos/videos this week). We stayed up by the shed working on moving out a bit more at the trot with the use of the dressage whip so that I don't have to be quite so loud with my legs, along with continuing to Yield to a Stop smoothly, & have continued to play with a bit more stopping & backing.
Next week, we've got another stellar week of March weather forecasted without the wind. Lows may not even get below freezing. We'll spend most of our time in the arena & may make a trek down the lane if things are going well.
