What a great week for Cricket! On Tuesday, she got to round the cattle up for the first time since they were on the wrong side of the fence. She loved it! No hesitation as we herded them where they needed to be, even when a couple of cows stood their ground at first. She's also been doing so well that I moved her into a shanked bit, which she's done very well in (I'll add a link to this update early next week when I get a chance to measure the shanks on the bit). I was very pleased with how she did with August when we went out & about. During her last week, we'll spend a little bit of time in the arena but will primarily continue to ride outside. - Lexy Nuesch
Next week's update will be posted on Saturday.
I do my best to get these updates posted in a timely manner, but it's not uncommon for me to be outside until after dark, depending on the weather, my schedule, & who gets worked when so updates will sometimes be posted quite late in the evening. Don't be alarmed if you don't see your update right away. In rare cases, I may have to push them until the next morning, but I'll reach out & let you know if so.
